Rayne Wang

Rayne was born and grew up in China, studying a masters degree in Electronic Business and Knowledge Management at the City University of Hong Kong, before working as a programmer in Hong Kong for three years.

Rayne moved to the UK in 2015 and started working in the NHS, as an Informatics Officer for University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust in 2018. Rayne played a key role in the management of the trust’s clinical information, focusing on Prescribing Information and Communication System (PICS) data and Oceano Patient Administration System (PAS) data. She is an expert in working with and creating large, complex and sensitive datasets, and identifying and analyzing data anomalies to maintain data completeness and accuracy.
