Sophie is a Lead Data Engineer she is passionate about providing impactful insights and bringing people together to improve decision making in health and care.

Sophie has a Health Data Analytics MSc from UCL and an Economics with Econometrics BSc from the University of Kent. She also has a qualification in Healthcare Leadership from the NHS Leadership Academy.

Sophie has experience in data, analytics and population health management, some of her experience includes leading resourcing decision programme evaluating COPD pathways in five ICSs, mapping and modelling patient flow in emergency departments, demand and capacity modelling for a variety of hospital specialties, and training local healthcare teams in PHM, complex adaptive systems and allocative efficiency.

Prior to joining the Health Economics Unit, Sophie worked in the PHM team in NHS England, The Economics team in The Health Foundation, Performance and in Intelligence in Doncaster CCG and Analytics & Insight for Finance in NHS England.
